Wood briquettes

Cozy, Eco-Friendly Warmth

TRAPA wood briquettes are high-quality, eco-friendly energy sources. They are produced without binders, using only wood offcuts, as well as shavings and sawdust from our flooring production in Carinthia. Thanks to the high proportion of hardwood (primarily oak), the briquettes hold a lot of heating energy, burn for a long time and are ideal for fireplaces, tiled stoves, cookstoves and solid fuel boilers.

TRAPA wood briquettes fill your home with comforting warmth. With their high hardwood content, they store a lot of heating energy and burn for a very long time.
Proper Use of TRAPA Wood Briquettes:
- Use firelighters - wood wool for ignition
- Allow to burn until glowing red, then reduce air supply if necessary to optimize heating energy
- Burn only in approved stoves
- Do not burn the plastic packaging
- Always store in a dry place
- The small amount of residual ash can be used as fertilizer

Fireplaces & Tiled Stoves – Heating Recommendation

Use baskets with a solid bottom for carrying briquettes.

Fireplaces and tiled stoves, in which the briquettes are stacked with wood wool firelighters in between (see image), can be ignited directly. For small fire chambers, it is best to start with firewood and then add briquettes afterward. Allow to burn until glowing red, then optionally reduce air supply or close the tiled stove.

Cookstoves & Solid Fuel Boilers – Heating Recommendation

For cookstoves with small fire chambers and solid fuel boilers, we recommend starting with firewood to create a bed of embers.

Once the initial embers are established, add briquettes depending on heat demand, with a higher quantity for solid fuel boilers. Let them burn until glowing red, then optionally reduce air supply to optimize heat efficiency.
